Prep Is the Job
Most sod that fails was laid on ground nobody fixed. Double J Builds pulls what is there, corrects the grade, gets the soil right, then lays and rolls the new turf tight to the seams and waters it in. You get a written scope before a roll is ordered, and a yard you can see from the street the same day.

How is sod priced?
By the square foot, installed. The bid tool on this page gives you a working range at the current published rate; the firm number comes after Double J Builds walks the yard and sees the grade, the access, and what has to come out first.
Do you remove the old lawn?
Yes. Tear-out and grading are part of the job. Sod laid over a bad grade fails, so the ground gets fixed before the first roll goes down.
Which grass should I pick?
Centipede, St. Augustine, Bermuda, and Zoysia each want different sun and traffic. Tell us how the yard gets used and how much shade it gets, and Joseph will tell you straight which one will hold up.
Do you take commercial and HOA grounds?
Yes. Entrances, common areas, and new construction are bid by the square foot and scheduled around your site.
